Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) specializes in helping individuals and families with the most complex behavioral health needs live successfully in the community. Our goal is to help youth and their families live lives of quality and dignity and develop an important role within their communities.
The Families and Communities Together project is a new initiative between Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA) and CFSS. Our primary goal is to help youth with the most complex needs live safely and successfully at home. This includes helping avoid placing youth outside of their home and returning them to their families and communities.
In addition to the full array of Support and Rehabilitation Services, we provide other services as requested by the Child and Family Team (CFT). These services include family and individual counseling and assistance with the self-administration of medications.
Our services are customized by the Child and Family Team (CFT) to be offered when, where and in a way that best meets the needs of the family. We do not set arbitrary limits on the amount of services or length of time required to successfully support a family; instead, the amount is designed by the CFT and adjusted regularly.
Home and Community
All services occur in the home and community unless office based work is specifically requested by the CFT. We work in family homes, schools, neighborhoods, local community centers and other places designated by the CFT.
