CFSS employees and consultants have presented at many local conferences and health fairs as well as national events such as the Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health and the Association for Positive Behavior Support. We have also worked with provider agencies, state and local government departments and other organizations. We have also done contract consulting all over the state of Arizona and we are the lead developer on many state-wide initiatives. We have worked with government agencies and providers in states such as Oregon, Washington, California, Washington DC, Virginia, New York and others.

Some of our key projects in recent years are the following:

  • Created self-guided, interactive online Child & Family Team Facilitation modules used by several Regional Behavioral Health Agencies (RBHAs) in Arizona to train CFT Facilitators (www.cfttraining.com)
  • Designed self-guided System Partner navigation modules for working with the Developmental Disabilities, Child Protective Services, Education and Juvenile Justice systems.
  • Co-Created with Northern Arizona Regional Behavioral Health Authority a self-guided and live-training set of modules: “Understanding the Unique Behavioral Health Needs of Children and Families Involved with CPS”
  • Key consultants for Arizona’s “Meet Me Where I Am” campaign, centered on developing and enhancing the quality of home-based direct support services across the state. Presented numerous community workshops and developed nine training modules (www.mmwia.com).
  • Key consultants for Arizona’s “Meet Me Where I Am Part II” campaign, focused on performance measurement, service evaluation and recommendations for improving practice for providers across the state.
  • Home-based Service Delivery in a Wraparound Model — Los Angeles County
  • The Effective Use of Natural Supports in Wraparound — Wraparound Oregon
  • And many other projects
