Wind Chimes, by Spencer

These wind chimes that we give you,
They think of her as well,
When they dance and sing and chime,
It’s her story that they tell.

Her soft and gentle voice,
They imitate with ease,
Swaying, chiming beautifully,
With every passing breeze.

Her spirit dances with them,
It guides them in their steps,
It blows the wind that guides the chimes,
In memory of her best.

Though she left this natural world,
She will sing for you still,
You may not hear her laugh again;
She wishes that you will.

The birds, the bees, the grass and trees,
Fall silent at her song;
The breeze, it tries it’s hardest,
To keep it playing long.

She will always be there,
Every time they chime,
So hear and let them comfort you,
For you’ll see her again with time.
