Child & Family
Support Services, Inc. is looking for caring, committed individuals
who have a natural ability to relate to kids and adults and skills
to help them change difficult behavior into more helpful behavior in
a support-based clinical context. This position requires the
following combination of education and experience:
a) Minimum of related Bachelor Degree and one year experience or related Master’s degree
b) Individual is
one of the following: a Psychiatrist, Behavioral health medical
practitioner, Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and
family therapist, Substance abuse counselor, or Registered nurse
with at least one year of full-time behavioral health work
experience.
The position involves working with children (and
their families) who have special behavioral health needs. Duties may
include in-home family and individual counseling, mentoring
children, assisting with living skills, providing respite for
families, helping children change unproductive behavior into more
helpful behavior, conducting assessments, and other supportive
services. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule
based on the needs of the children and families, which may include
evening or weekend hours when needed. In addition, the applicant
must be able to write progress notes, have reliable transportation,
pass a drug screen, and provide verification of the right to work in
the United States.
