Child & Family Support Services, Inc. is looking for caring, committed individuals who have a natural ability to relate to kids and adults and skills to help them change difficult behavior into more helpful behavior. This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:
 

a) A master’s degree in a field related to behavioral health

b) A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of full-time behavioral health work experience

c) An associate’s degree and at least two years of full-time behavioral health work experience

d) A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and: 18 credit hours of post-high-school education in a field related to behavioral health completed no more than four years before the date the individual begins providing behavioral health services, and two years of full-time behavioral health work experience, or four years of full-time behavioral health work experience

The position involves working with children (and their families) who have special behavioral health needs. Duties may include mentoring children, assisting with living skills, providing respite for families, helping children change unproductive behavior into more helpful behavior, and other supportive services. The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the children and families, which may include evening or weekend hours when needed. In addition, the applicant must be able to write progress notes, have reliable transportation, pass a drug screen, and provide verification of the right to work in the United States.
