Tim Penrod, Chief Executive Officer Tim Penrod is the Chief Executive Officer of CFSS and one of the founders of the company. Tim is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a masters degrees in Business Administration and Marriage and Family Therapy. Prior to working at CFSS, Tim worked as a family counselor, Systems of Care Coordinator, Child Protective Services case manager, a direct support worker in the Developmental Disabilities and Behavioral Health systems and a teacher/trainer in the education system. Tim is an Arizona native and is very active in family responsibilities and community service. He enjoys music and plays the piano by ear in addition to playing the trumpet, drums and guitar. He and his wife are the parents of five wonderful children. |

Marcia Pinter, Chief Operating Officer Marcia Pinter is the Chief Operating Officer of CFSS and one of the original founders. Marcia has a background in juvenile justice, elementary education as well as working in the behavioral health system. Marcia was involved in the original 300 Kids Project in Arizona, was a CFT facilitator and worked as a System of Care Developer. Marcia is uniquely passionate about family and youth involvement and supporting youth and families in moving agencies and systems to be more effective in the partnership that is developed. Marcia grew up in Colorado, but has lived in Arizona for 25 years. Marcia enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. |

Matt Pierce, Chief Clinical Officer Matt Pierce has had the fortunate opportunity to work with children and families in a variety of different capacities. Matt has been involved in a variety of different community development initiatives and has experience as a case manager, clinician, supervisor, agency director and as a system clinical administrator. He has written a variety of curriculums and training materials on the facilitation of child and family teams, the theory and practical components of implementing a positive behavioral approach, and how to deliver creative individualized interventions to young people and families with complex needs. He received his Bachelors Degree in Psychology at Mesa State College in Grand Junction Colorado, and his Masters Degree in Professional Counseling at the University of Phoenix. Matt currently holds the position of Chief Clinical Officer at CFSS. During his spare time Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons Riley and Teo. |

Michael Terkeltaub, Chief Administrative Officer Michael Terkeltaub is the Chief Administrative Officer of CFSS. Michael has served as a consultant to local and state public and private agencies regarding the development of family-focused, strengths-based services for children and families. He has over 20 years experience developing, implementing and operating community-based programming for at-risk youth and families. He has been instrumental in developing creative strengths-based, community-based initiatives in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. These programs include Systems of Care Approaches, Wrap-Around Process, therapeutic foster care, therapeutic group homes, in-home services, mentoring, respite, and after school programs. He has consulted with communities and agencies in Virginia, Kansas, Arizona, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the Netherlands. |

Steve Watson, Chief Financial Officer Steve Watson graduated in 2002 from Brigham Young University with a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Finance. After graduation, he worked for a couple of years for Clopay Building Products as an accountant and as a financial analyst. In 2004, Steve was promoted to Director of Finance of Clopay Plastic Products’ subsidiary in Brazil. He relocated his young family (wife and 5 month old baby) to Brazil and enjoyed five wonderful years of working and living in Brazil. In fact, two of Steve’s sons were born in Brazil. In 2009 Steve had a yearning to return to the states and accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at Child & Family Support Services where he has been able to demonstrate how creative financial decision-making can help support children and families to successfully reach their dreams. Steve lives in Gilbert, AZ· with his wife and four wonderful boys. In his spare time he is working on his MBA at ASU and will be graduating in 2012. |

Denise Baker, Family Involvement Director Denise Baker has had many experiences navigating a number of public systems as she has worked to meet the needs of her own son (now a young adult) who has unique needs. Denise has worked in the system for the past past nine years. During that time, she has had the privilege and honor of partnering with youth and families as she has worn several different hats in her various roles. Those roles have included Peer-delivered Family Support, facilitation of Child & Family Team planning, and the development of Family Involvement within a Family-Run Organization and Provider Agencies. |
