About Us
Partnering with Families to Build Relationships and to Inspire Hope
Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) was created in 2003 to provide individuals and families with flexible, individually-tailored support services. CFSS works with individuals and families with complex behavioral, developmental, or emotional needs. Our goal is to help families live lives of quality and dignity, regardless of any challenges or disabilities. We provide our support and services in accordance with the Arizona Vision and the 12 Principles of Care.
We specialize in helping provide the support needed for individuals with special needs to continue living in their homes or community placements. Our services also focus on the support needed to return individuals from formal settings such as hospitals, residential treatment centers, or detention settings back into their local communities. Our support is community based, not office based; we work in family homes, schools, local community centers, and whatever places are most suited to the individual.Â
We offer services in several areas throughout the state of Arizona. In Yavapai and Coconino counties we provide a full range of out-patient behavioral health services for children and families, including case management and medication services. In Maricopa and Mohave counties we offer specialized direct support services for children, young adults and families.
The majority of our work is provided in homes, schools, and communities because we believe that is where we can be the most effective. Rather than providing services only during traditional office hours, we work when and where families need us the most. This often includes working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
CFSS values the dignity, independence and unique personal culture of every individual and family we serve. We believe that no matter how difficult a person’s past or present struggles, and no matter how long their journey toward healing and fulfillment, there is always hope. We deliver our support services in a timely manner and consistently seek to evaluate and improve our approaches. We actively recruit a diverse workforce that displays a talent and passion for working with children, young adults, and families.Â
